ONT named 2016 Community Partner of the Year
ONT was named 2016 Community Partner of the Year by The Greater Boston Food Bank at GBFB's Partner Appreciation Reception on October 28th. This is an incredible honor. ONT is one of nearly 600 member agencies providing food assistance across eastern Massachusetts. We could not do our work without GBFB! Read the full article.
The Season for Giving!
As Thanksgiving approaches, our guests can celebrate knowing they'll have turkeys and all the fixings to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. ONT will provide Thanksgiving and Christmas groceries for 600 families this year!
But hunger knows no season. We rely on donations from the community in order to make sure our guests can have the food they need year-round. Every $1 you give equals 1 more meal on the table. Make your gift today!
We give thanks for our wonderful volunteers!
For this Volunteer Spotlight, we highlight our Volunteer Appreciation Committee who helps us give thanks year-round. Our programs don't run without volunteers. And, thanks to this dedicated group, we strive to keep your volunteer experience the best we can!
Starve Hunger. Feed Hope.
That was the theme of this year's annual breakfast and it's the theme that will carry us through the celebration of our 25th anniversary here at ONT! The last year has been a busy one at ONT - providing 525,000 meals to people in need, opening the new Jardis-Taylor Center - but the real story are the tomorrows we are filling with HOPE. John is going through cancer treatment, but he can keep food on the table for his family while he's out of work. Mike and Kara's children are fed, healthy and happy even when Mike's overtime still doesn't cover their monthly costs. Justin is an amazing ambassador for ONT 20 years after his family was homeless and dined at ONT every Wednesday.
YOU are bringing hope to thousands of people in our community. Inspired by our 2016 Community Champions - Cathy Gaudet, Dee Morse, and Main Street Congregational Church - together we will Starve Hunger and Feed Hope!
