Our Neighbors’ Table provides hot, nutritious meals prepared on-site by our volunteers. Everyone is welcome to join us for a three course meal, including soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert, In addition to table service, guests are welcomed to take a carry-out meal. Residents of these towns are welcome to get utilize ONT grocery programs once per week. All locations require a basic registration and current proof of residence.

Our markets provide an assortment of grocery staples, fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, eggs, frozen meats and fish, personal care items, and diapers, all at no charge. We will update this page as programs are changed due to Covid-19. See also our latest statement on Covid-19.

Merrimac, 1st & 3rd Saturdays
The Merrimac pick-up location has been temporarily closed due to logistical challenges. We plan to re-open pick-ups in Merrimac as soon as we are able. In the meantime, guests who usually pick-up in Merrimac can now pick up any day in Amesbury (Wed - Sat) or Newburyport (Thursday). Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch Program serves families with school-aged children through July and August. Featured items include fresh milk, cheese, bread, breakfast and lunch items, juice, snacks, and fresh fruits and vegetables and are distributed in the market at the Jardis-Taylor Center. All families are also welcome to utilize the full market during their visit.
Pre-registration is required and opens in June. Priority is given to families who qualify for free- and reduced- meals through their district's school system. |

Holiday Programs
Holidays are a special time for families and friends to gather. Our holiday programs offer a variety of groceries to help families prepare a delicious holiday meal in their own home for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
For current ONT guests, registration will not be necessary this year and you will simply order your groceries online as usual for pick-up the next day the week before Thanksgiving. You will see the available holiday groceries included in your choice of selections (including your Thanksgiving turkey or chicken and your $10 gift card). These holiday items will be available the week prior to Thanksgiving: November 17th - November 21 and additionally on November 24th. For Christmas we will have extra holiday groceries and goodies to make your day special and will have a $10 gift card (we do not have turkeys or chickens for Christmas). The Christmas groceries and gift cards will be available the week prior to Christmas: December 15th through December 19th and additionally on December 22nd." Easter Dinner
The Easter Bunny comes to ONT first! The week before Easter, the Easter Bunny comes to dinner at Our Neighbors’ Table and gives out Easter Baskets filled with candy and toys to children in need. These baskets are also distributed to local community agencies and local schools. |
Halloween Fun
On the Wednesday prior to Halloween, Our Neighbors’ Table invites guests at the Wednesday Meal to dress in costume and enjoy special treats for children |
Christmas Dinner
Enjoy dinner with Santa, free photos provided by Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, and musical entertainment. No reservations or sign-up required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. |
Emergency Assistance
Our Neighbors' Table partners with Project Bread as a resource for emergency food assistance. Individuals and families in immediate need of food, due to homelessness, displacement, or other critical circumstances, may contact us during normal business hours at the office at 978.388.1907, or outside of business hours, at the Emergency Hotline at 978.835.3016.

Emergency Bags
Bags filled with personal care products and emergency food are distributed to those who are homeless, living in motels, or displaced due to fire, water breaks, or other emergencies. We also give these bags to local community service agencies, the police and fire departments, and several local churches. |

Food Security Advisory Group
As part of Our Neighbors' Table's 2020 Strategic Plan, we have convened the Food Security Advisory Group (FSAG) and its Assessment Working Group to develop a plan to better understand where and why food insecurity persists in our region. Once the barriers to food are identified, the advisory group will create a plan to cross those barriers and build food secure communities.
FSAG members include Anna Jaques Hospital, Children’s Health Care, Mayor Holaday (Newburyport), Mayor Gray (Amesbury), superintendents and school personnel from the Newburyport, Merrimac, Pentucket and Triton school districts, the Merrimac Police Department, Pettengill House, Newburyport and Salisbury Councils on Aging, and the Greater Boston Food Bank. |

Home Delivery Program
Serving home-bound, Amesbury residents, in partnership with the Amesbury Council on Aging. Weekly grocery and hot meals are delivered to Amesbury residents who, for health reasons, are unable to access services at our site. |
