SNAP
Our Neighbors’ Table is a SNAP Outreach Partner which means our staff can help Massachusetts residents apply for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). If you are interested in applying for SNAP, please leave your contact information below to schedule a time to speak with an ONT staff member.
What is SNAP?SNAP is money for food. The money is issued monthly onto a card (just like a debit card). The card can be used to buy food at most supermarkets, convenience stores, as well as some farmers' markets.
We can help you:
How do I know if I'm eligible to receive SNAP?There are many factors in determining eligibility. We understand that everyone's situation is different. The BEST way to determine if you are eligible for SNAP benefits is to speak to someone trained in SNAP eligibility. Our Neighbors' Table is licensed SNAP agency and can help you determine if you are eligible with a 5-10 minute phone conversation.
Do I need to go to a DTA office (Department of Transitional Assistance) to apply for or get help with SNAP?NO! SNAP Applications are easily done right over the phone. Our Neighbors' Table can not only help you initially sign up for SNAP, but will continually be your SNAP guide once you are receiving it.
