Forward Together: Seacoast Regional Food Hub
More than 27 food access organizations across the Lower Merrimac Valley have now joined the conversation to shape the Seacoast Regional Food Hub and the critical infrastructure it will provide.
With more than 32,000 individuals living in food insecure households, creating immediate and sufficient access to free food is critical. There are already more than 30 food champions providing food access across the region. While the work to solve the problem is there, the network lacks the proper tools to serve all in need and to provide them with the amount of food to close their Meal Gap. The Seacoast Food Hub, located at 114 Bridge Road, Salisbury, will increase infrastructure, promote collaboration, and lead to a food secure region. The 24,000 square foot facility will provide:

What’s in store for the Jardis-Taylor Center in Amesbury?
In 2023, ONT intends to re-open its Amesbury Market for in-person shopping. The ONT Markets will provide a combination of in-person, curbside and home delivery options to ensure everyone can access the food they need. To accommodate the increased need, ONT will be remodeling the Amesbury Market to double its size! This remodel is made possible through the generous support of the Amelia Peabody Charitable Fund.
